A MODERN SITE WITH THE LATEST ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS…
The project includes an extension with a new 19375sq building and the refurbishment of 10763sq of existing buildings, to bring the entire site up to the latest standards in terms of safety, comfort and the environment.
The site will place a major emphasis on well-being in the workplace, offering employees a wide range of social spaces, including a cafeteria, a relaxation area and a beautiful outdoor terrace. More than 150 additional parking spaces will also be created to accommodate the company’s new employees.
Designed by the BMB Architecte agency, the new building will feature meticulous architecture to showcase the company and give the site an open, modern image that blends harmoniously with its surroundings. As well as giving pride of place to planted areas around the site, a low-carbon roof structure will illuminate the reception hall, which will benefit from large expanses of glass. A link between the new building and the existing industrial site will optimise traffic flows within the new complex.
Committed to an ambitious CSR approach, AIR SUPPORT wanted to make this extension a project that met the highest environmental standards. The new building will be passive, and will produce more electricity than it consumes, thanks to the installation of a 5520sq photovoltaic plant on the roof.
… RESPONDING TO THE GROWTH OF A DYNAMIC COMPANY
This extension to the head office, built in 2013, is designed to accommodate the strong growth in the business of AIR SUPPORT, which was founded in 1992, and to house the support functions and the entire supply chain.
« We at GSE are particularly proud to be able to support an innovative and dynamic company like AIR SUPPORT in its growth. Thanks to our expertise and our presence in the region, we were able to support the customer throughout the design process, and offer technical and economic solutions to ensure a new, modern site adapted to the increase in its activity”, explains Thibaut GENRE-GRANDPIERRE, Development Director at GSE.
This project represents a major new step in Air Support’s development,” says Sabine Tertre, President of Air Support. This investment will enable us to double the surface area of our workshops and test rooms in order to respond to market growth and increase our repair capacity for new equipment.
Following the start of works in June 2024, the building will be handed over in two phases to allow the business to continue operating on site: the extension will be handed over at the beginning of 2025 and the existing areas will be renovated in the 2nd quarter of 202
